i am currently learning vc++ .net and am looking for books to keep going after this ... am interested in the networking programming as well as systems programming in vc++ .net

if you could through me some ideas to lead me in that direction it would be greatly appreciated ..

Try amazon.com and read the reviews that people leave by, most of them are quite helpful, however, about this book...

avoid like the plague, it's childish and sad. That's my opinion, but I find the information that they give there is mostly(click on this icon, type this in here, press this button) :rolleyes: , not fun.
