printing api (memory usage) error w/ OCE printer

I am sending about a 50 Meg print job to a high capacity OCE printer (OCE 8145) and using Task Manager I can see the Memory usage climbing. (It is static if I use an HP, and I dont get an error either). As I approach the end of the spooling process I get the API error and then the Windows blue screen of death.

Has anyone else experienced this with either an OCE printer or similar behaviour with another printer. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

The OS is Windows 2000.

that might be your problem :rolleyes:

other than that make sure you have the latest windows updates and drivers...i don't know how big the internel spool for print jobs is in windows...but 50 meg is freakin huge.
