Here's the deal, im running w2k pro sp4 on an old packard bell computer with pentium 133, 72 mg ram. There's a pci device that worked when i first had the computer (running win95), now in w2k it doesn't work. It says that the firmware isn't giving the device enough resources, which means that the bios isn't giving it enough resources (and it's an old bios, trust me). So, I tried to see if when enabling the option to use a PnP OS in the bios (windows sets memory aside for devices) the device would work. Still didn't work. So, therefore it's not the bios...is w2k causing the error? Is there anything I can do? I know there's not hardware conflicts, what else could it be?
PS: This is more for curiosity's sake rather than neccessity.
