Software programmer for Joint Venture

I am looking for a software programmer that will be able to write a very easy (from what I'm told) code that will allow someone to scan in a document. The software will then assign specific fields with variable names, and use stored information to replace the variables. There are specific fields on these documents, such as First Name. This software needs to recognize those fields and assign them as such. There are many, many different documents the user can scan, all with basically the same variables, but just with different positioning of these variables. I am told this is a simple program, but I am not sure. This software will be sold on the internet, and the first year income potential to the developer of the software is very high. I am looking for a reputable person, and resumes or sample programs will be required.
