It sure gets quiet
When the kids go to bed
We sit here in the silence
Putting off what must be said
I read a book you watch TV
As our love dies quietly
I'm so sad I don't know what I just read

Somebody should leave
But which one should it be
You need the kids and they need me
Somebody should leave
But we hate to give in
We keep hoping somehow we might need each other again

You say goodnight and turn and face the wall
We lie here in the darkness and the tears start to fall
If it was only you and me goodbye might come more easily
But what about those babies down the hall

Somebody should leave
But which one should it be
You need the kids and they need me
Somebody should leave
But we hate to give in
We keep hoping somehow we might need each other again

Somebody should leave
But which one should it be
You need the kids and they need me
Somebody should leave
But we hate to give in
We keep hoping somehow we might need each other again

Yes, that sounds like a nice song. Do you know the name?

The song sounds nice, but what it says is also sad. It is saying that he is unhappy and wants to leave his wife and children, or that his wife and children should leave. He is saying that they remain together because of the children. Situations like that are difficult; if the kids grow up with unhappy parents, then the kids will have difficulties too.

Or is he saying that he wants just the kids to leave? I don't think that is what he is saying, but that would not be any better.

I also like animals and pets. I like cats as pets more than dogs. I had a cat but it is still difficult for me to talk about him.

That song sung by Reba McEntire, a nice song...(Somebody should leave)
I think both still want to stay together, but they couldnot...somebody should leave.
Another song I like is by Mandy Moore-Want you Back, ..it is pretty short but nice though...:)

I like "When You Say Nothing at All" by Alison Krauss. The words are nice and when Alison Krauss sings it, it sounds especially nice.

My cat was named Ben. I said it is difficult for me to talk about Ben. It is just too difficult for me to talk about Ben for me to answer your questions. Please don't ask.

I heard "When You Say Nothing at All" on a country-music radio station.

I don't have a preference for genre. In my opinion, most commercial performers are not artists. Most commercial singers are not really singers as far as I am concerned. Some singers (such as Linda Ronstadt) make me want to howl like a dog when I hear them. There are a few singers that I think are truly singers, such as Helen Reddy, Olivia Newton-John and Neil Diamond. They are older and although I am sure there are younger singers that I would enjoy, I do not know who they are. As I said, I enjoy hearing Alison Krauss singing that one song but she does not sound so nice for all the songs she sings. I have also heard a song sung by Tori Amos that I enjoyed but her other songs are not as nice. So I enjoy hearing classical music, probably because there is not a singer; there is only music.
