Insert your XP disk into your CDR/W drive again, and reboot your system, your sys will then ask you to install Xp, click yes and then it will bring up the options for which drive to format, just pick D out, you have to sit tight waiting for 5 minutes (not sure) till it finishes..:)
Hope that willnot be any of so-called not-helps...:)

For example when the computer is not powerfull enough to take advantage of Windows XP. But more reasons come to my mind.

What I do when I wanna uninstall windows is these 3 easy steps:
1) Get a crowbar
2) Smash the glass first (wear protective footwear and eyewear!! I cant emphasize enough on how important that is!)
3) Use the crowbar to jimmy the frames off the wall.
There, you have it! :)

1) Create a Win98 "rescue" diskette (I forget exactly how, but there was a command to do this on 98).
2) Make sure the "sys" command is on your Win98 rescue diskette, and that the diskette is bootable.
3) Format the XP partition.
4) Boot from the diskette; run sys c:
Done!
