Travelling to England

Some of my friends and I intend to travel to England this winter for fun...But as I have heard from some people who have already been there, that alot of people in England are not as friendly to tourists as those in other European countries like Germany Switzerland, France etc.

I want to visit but I am afraid...
What do you guys here who have been to England think about that ???

I don't think it makes a difference. Besides, it difficult to generalize that type of thing. It may not even be true, and it certainly will have little bearing on your personal experience.

I think thats a load of rubbish homey, the Germans, the Swiss and the French are just as bad as the Pommies.

So, homey, if you were to travel to England, how long would the flight take? Just out of curiosity. :)

The flight takes 14 hours and your arms will be really tired by the time you arrive.
