Summary

Responsibilities
· Develop and implement product features and components according to specifications in both Windows (MFC) and Mac (PowerPlant) environments.
· Interact with QA Engineers and Product Managers to assure absolute quality and product features offering a compelling user experience.
· Collaborate regularly with engineering colleagues on digital imaging innovations, best practices and computer graphics techniques.
Requirements
· Minimum three years experience in a product oriented development effort.
· Strong skills in Mac OS X or MS Windows, C++ and object oriented development in general.
· Expertise in Computer Graphics: bitmap editing, image compositing, file formats, image compression, color science (ICC), drawing and painting primitives, morphing, 2D and 3D geometry.
· Experience in MS Windows / Mac OS X cross platform development.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver industrial strength components on time.
Ideal
· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar degree with an engineering focus. Master's degree in computer science preferred.
· Experience in development of products targeted for cross platform environments.
· A strong orientation and acuity for the user experience.
· Experience building tools for the graphics industry.
