Hi

I am trying to install a French version of Windows 2000 Pro.
I have selected the primary language as French during setup and none of the text in Windows 2000 is translated. All I get is French keyboard mapping and French support for documents. Is this
all there is for multi language support or have I missed a step
in the install?

Help Please! Cheers People

i have installed a different language windows once..on startup of the setup...it already starts in the language...i.e your french windows should start in french...if you are installing a english windows you can only select the language and french and change the keyboard mapping...the windows should still be in english..
i think the copy u have is english windows with multi-language support...
french windows should be in french all the way...
or that is what i know...

Thanks for your reply Joseph. I ended up getting the
multi language pack which converts the english edition to
french. I just need the multi lang disks for office now and I'll be there.
