Can i receive WM_TIMER in mouseproc

hi all i am capturing the mouse movements and clicks in a mouse hook what i want to know is that can i receive a WM_TIMER message inside a mouse hook or not i guess that i cant receive this in JOUNAL RECORD but what about mouse proc kindly if u have any suggestions do tell me
