help required

hi

i had got a project from a textile industry ,my client is asking a specific application which i'm unable to fix i'e he wants to ungroup a picture in jpeg format on the basis of color .
to be more specificif there is a pic of a rose than he wants that if he chooses for green color then only the leaf should come on screen and if he choosee for red then only the rose without the leaf should come.

i have only 2 days in hand as i have to give him a solution on Monday so please help me
