I am running win2000 with NTFS. Will SuSe step all over it? Do I need to buy a boot manager?

No, you do not need to buy a boot manager...you can either use the Windows one or the Linux one (LiLo)...which one you prefer is your choice...however, getting linux into the Windows is a little bit more harder than the other way round (you need to edit 'boot.ini')...however, I guess the Suse setup will automatically integrate Windows into the linux one...

Yup, I agree with Andreas. Once I have also installed Suse on my windows system as a second OS. Suse is such tolerate that it recognize the other OS. Windows isn't !

Oh, so the Suse setup will handle the integration. Good. Will it install its boot manager automatically? Or do I have to select it?
