I have to buy a book on computer networking.
For this I have chosen the foll:
Computer Networking - Tenenbaum
Data communication and Networking - BA Forouzan
Which book do you recommend for a good understanding?

It all depends on what you want to do. For almost everything there is more than enough information on the net for tcp/ip programming. Do you want to make a multiplayer 3d shooter or just send messages back and forth? What language and operating system do you use / want to use? What exerpience do you have?
