I am putting together a web site for a tattoo shop. They want to post flash art (the art that hangs on the walls of a tattoo shop as samples). I have made it dificult for someone to copy the image files but I don't know what to do to stop someone from printing the page. This will make it easy for any other tattoo artist to use the image by enlarging the print and getting a good tracing template from it.

Can I use any code to disable printing of a web page?

I dont think that can be done, but for the argument, let us say it can be done....

How will you stop some one from bringing up the page in the browser and then copying the entire screen to the clipboard / or use an image capture tool and copy part of the screen?

It is a fight you cant win...

I dont know much about this tatoo business, but maybe you can put up images that are clear enough for users to see, but not clear enough for somone to copy/print and get a good tracing template from.

Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply,

What I did was slice the pictures so that it makes it dificult for a person to dowload the entire image at once. I also put a water mark into the images to discourage use of them. I really don't know what else I can do to guard against stealing these images.

I am open for any other suggestions.
