Get modem info in .Net Compact framework

I am using .Net Compact Framework on a WinCE environment and I need to get Modem information like Device type, Device name and device status.
In .Net Framework it can be easily done using System.Management.ManagementObject class but unfortunately this is not available in .NET cf and I could not find any other way to do it. Could some one give some idea on this one.
