New Game Idea

I have a game idea and need some people to help. If I can get enough people to respond that knows how to do some programming or 3D graphics I'll describe the game and what we need to get it done.

1) The game will be written in C++ so if you don't know C++ then you probably won't be much help.

2) It will also use the DirectX libraries. Even if you don't know DirectX as long as you know C++ you may be able to help some.

3) I need 3D models made. I am not creative enough to do this nor do I really have the software. If someone has 3D modeling software or can help to create such a software so we can have decent looking 3D models that would be a huge help.

The code sharing and dividing will be done after we realize who all will participate. If I don't get enough people to get it done then I won't bother. The main thing is 3D modeling.

I will have some information on here later. We really need a few more people. Many people don't seem interested. Do you know any DirectX?

I know a little bit Direct X but if you don't post any game idea or something like that, I suppose that nodoby will be interested in your project!!!!! No one know what we are speaking about, so in what they should be interested in ???

I know C++, I try to study about Directx but it's seems not to good, I am only in Vertex tutorial. I would like to help.

Ok, well if we can get some people interested then that's a start. The idea is for a Paintball Game. Now I know there is one out there by HeadGames or whatever but it sucks. I played tournament paintball for 3 years and I know of several Tournament Paintballers who thinks it sucks. They want something built around the Tournament scene. If you know absolutely nothing about tournament paintball it doesn't matter because I do. I pretty well have a good idea of what all we need to get started. The thing I really don't have patience doing is the 3d modeling. The majority of tournaments I went to had more then 200 people there. And this is in Indiana mostly. The big pro events which I have played a couple would have several thousand people there. Most would love a good Tournament Paintball game. I'm telling you it would take a lot of work but this is something that I know will sell. I have a few friends who own Paintball stores (most teams do something in the paintball business besides just play). You could sell it in there if no anywhere else and I know if it is decent it will sell.

That is the game. If you don't want to get involved then thats fine. It will be hard work and it will take a while but I know if we can get people involved that have a passion for making a decent game then we can do this. Thanks for taking interest in my post.

have gotten started on the coding for the game. If anyone is interested then post something. I am doing it in C++ and DirectX.

I haven't decided what I will use for the modeling. If someone out there knows 3d Studio Max or some other software and can make some decent models send me some work.

I need help with the sounds. I can get most of the field sounds myself but maybe some music. I can record some of this myself to as I get time because I own a small studio. Two of my friends own pretty big studios so I know I can get it done myself after I get most of this code going.

More coders would be very much help too. C++ especially. I am making a skeleton for the game now. We will just have to fill in the DirectX stuff and then stuff related to our game. all the windows code will be as much hidden as possible. If we get this done in DirectX then we can convert the code to other OS's later if you wish. Maybe even to a console. Who knows.

Is there anyone who knows 3D graphics well? If you want to get involved in any part of this, even anything I haven't mentioned I need then reply. There is a lot that needs done. Thank you.
