To add custon menu item in the context menu for any device in device manager

The device manager pops up a context menu when the user right clicks on any device. We have a requirment to add our custom menu items for that context menu depending on the device type. Also I have a requirement to either gray out the menu items in that context menu or remove some menu items provided by device manager based on some actions.

Can anybody give a hint on how to achieve this?
