Synchronization on the user names and password will be done manually. With each creation of a new employee, the user creation process will be carried out manually for all integrated systems (independently).
Users/Employees will be maintaining the same and consistent username throughout all related systems. Should there be a need to change passwords, manual intervention is required to ensure that the user logs on seamless to Bear Palm from the portal.
The approach used will be to pass arguments/parameters to the target application, i.e. username. Authentication will be carried out by the portal solution, whereas the Authorization and a new set of security context will be loaded by matching the passed username to a component (provided by development vendors) or page to allow access to Bear Palm application.
Registered users will be alerted of pending submission inside Bearpalm on the portal main page (together with the inbox notification).This function is only possible if the API’s/services of the Bearpalm application is provided to us.
this is my task i have to do with oracle 9iAS using pdk porlets,JPDk..can any body suggest me regrding what to do and how to do..
