Project defaults?

Does anybody know if there is an easy way to modify the default settings for a new C++ project? I will need to create over 30 new projects in the next year, and I need to modify a bunch of the build options. Is there a way that I can change the default values (for all configurations) to make this task less error-prone and tedious?
