Already asked this at the main forum, but this may be more API related....
Lets say I have a partition that does not have a drive letter assigned to it (under XP or W2K).
I've found several drive/partition manipulation APIS/IO Controls, but the all seem to require the partion having a drive letter assigned to it.
I can go to "My Computer">>Manage>>Disk Management>>Change Drive Letters to accomplish this. How can I do this programatically when there is not already a drive letter?
I'm willing to risk destroying the image. I have a backup (I've already wiped and restored the drive many times while working in this). I've been working with partition and drive manipulation for a few months, but haven't found a solution to this particular problem.
Thanks
