Can somebody tell me how to install the TCP/IP protocol from the winows 2000 cd?
I am running win2k and my TCP/IP protocol is corrupt.
When i try reinstalling it from the hardisk it still didnt work, I later found out that i have to install it from the cd from which i installed win2k on my machine.
But When i click on have disk and select my cdrom drive, i is asking me for the inf file.
There is only one important folder in the CD (ie) the I386 folder.
I tried choosing all the inf files from this folder but it doesnt seem to work.
In Win 98 and WinME all yo have to do is click on hvedisk and pint to the cdrom drive and i will automatically search for the inf file.
But how do i do this in win2k.
I would be most greatful to any who would help me.
