I just discovered this article on MSDN. Microsoft implemented a part of the CLR for Mac OS X 10.2 and freeBSD.
Now that makes programming for linux and mac more interesting in .NET !!!!

The .NET framework support is free on every platform !
Only the programming tools used to make and compile the software isn't free.
