A user A has a Win98 platorm and is connected to the LAN (Netware Client), and also a printer ,which is connected to his System and is Shared by two of his Colleagues.
Now when ever the user A turns on his System, after Booting for some minutes the system hangs up.Then I restart the machine and enter the windows through the Safe Mode and disconnect the printer. And i restart the machine. This time the System boots up and is ready to use.And then I connect the printer to the System and the Printer also works.
But if the m/c is again restarted with the printer connected i get the same problem.Could any one give me some sugesstions.I also reinstalled the printer driver S/w also but it was also of no use.The System is a P111 with 128 mb Ram and 20 gb hdd.

Pls help.

What is the model of the printer?

What is the model of the computer and it's specifications?

Where does it hang? "after some minutes" is not very specific.

For instance, this article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q184954) may help. But, you may not even be using that printer.
