like an external modem connects on a COM port so to send data to the modem i merely send data onto the COM port , is there anythign with the internal modem? does that also use a COM line.. say for example COM1 is my mouse.. COM2 in my external modem.. and now i decide to add a second modem(however absurd it maybe) andi get an internal modem... will it like use COM3 and can i send data onto COM3 also like how iwas sending data on COM2 thru a VC++ application??
anyone who has fooled around with this stuff please do let me know caz if it does i need not enter TAPI at all :-)
