Inserting Activex Object in ASP page

I want to thank all that reply.

I am just beginning to work with ASP page's so please be patient.

If you have to use the Class id=???????????????????????????? of the object you want. How in the world do you find the Class ID of that object?

I have download the Activex Control Pad from Microsoft but it does not work on my pc, I am assuming that it is because I use a windows/2000/Pro system. The copywrite on that program says 1995, and Microsoft also say's that they don't support it.

Is there another program out that will help me to determine the Class ID of Activex Objects.

You can look for it in the registry - it's the CLSID associated with the control.
