To insert Russian text from file into messenger window

I used Windows Script Host and AutoIt, but Russian text looks as abrakadabra, when placed in messenger window, in both cases. When I type text from keyboard - it's OK.

Somewhere "behind the scenes" the text probably is converted (Unicode?).

Any ideas?
