Hello,
I'm currently a junior, but I find it best to know what college(s) to be shooting for before going into my senior year. This way I can feel more relaxed as I come closer to the real world. I want to get into software, nearly any branch (programming related that is). Whether I'm just an idea man scratching down quick bits of code to start some revolutionary application, or just writing a small piece of code along with others. I don't really care, i just love to get my hands dirty (if the keyboard was dusty that is :)). So, I'd like anyone who reads this to reply with what college they attended, how they would rate it as far as curriculum goes (examples are welcome too), what language they now program in the most (and or which seemed to be covered best at the school), and where the college is located if you didn't mention it already. A general cost might help too, just ballpark it, including any scholarships you might have received. I'd like to know what i can do to improve my chances of scholarships. Right now I've made a deal with my principal, I'm writing a database style app for the school, and he's writing a paper on my behalf. So that's about as far as I've gotten on that. Thanks in advance to all that care to reply.
