perhaps this is not the rite question for this forum, but i'm pretty desparate...
I tried to do a snapshot replication from named instance on a machine (server 1) thru distributor (server 2) to subscriber (server 3). All three servers reside on the same machine.
server 1,2,3 all resides on the same machine and use the same domain system account as the service account. now, i've got the following error message when i check distributor replication monitor\publishers\server1\snapshot_pubs_src_srv01 and replication monitor\agents\distribution agent:
"Could not locate entry in sysdatabases for database 'snapshot_pubs_src_srv01'. No entry found with that name. Make sure that the name is entered correctly."
any clue as to how to fix this? thanx!
PS: Is there any "good" forum for sql server somewhere?
