hi friends,
When we open any file ( say Excell sheet) kept on a network then it gets locked. Now any body else from the network when tries to open it gets the message warning as
" file in use" .
This dialog has a notify button , which when pressed by the late user gets the notification on closure of the file by the first user.
Can anybody please tell me how this mechanism works.
This is needed urgently .
I want to understand the mechanism of how all this works.
