With the growth of wireless technologies and the increase in interest in wireless and mobile development, I have created this new forum.

A few years back I was doing some development for the Palm OS. This included using CodeWarrior as well as products such as Satellite Forms. Currently I am starting to look at Pocket PC Development and the tools/APIs provided with .NET. I'm also interested in learning more about BREW which is getting lots of press.

If anyone is using these technologies, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of them as well as any suggestions for which products to use. I'd also be interested in hearing what people have to say about the different databases and their support (or lack of support) for mobile and other small devices.

Then there is J2ME that lots of people are talking about. Since Java is not my choice of languages, I'm not as interested in it-- unless someone says that it is the more mature, better tool/language to use.

Comments?

I have been developing Pocket PC applications that synchronize between the desktop and the Pocket PC for about a year and a half. I have found no *GOOD* documentation anywhere on the internet or in books. Everything I have learned has come through trial and error and reading cryptic documentation by MS. I look forward to this forum growing and becoming a good place to interchange information.

I do agree with Alan.
I bleave whether deveopers are reluctant to share their information on Pocket PCs or there are not wnough developers there. For instance for a solution i spent 1 week without getting a single information on the net.
I hope this forum will make our dreams come true:-)
