Outlook Express 5.0

Four out of five times when I try to check my e-mail Outlook Express gives me an error (No. Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D) anyone know what is causing this?

I get this error frequently as well. The program IS still in beta version. Have you checked wiindowsupdate.microsoft.com. I was there last week, and they had a patch. I'm not sure what it covered though. My guess is remove all the accounts/newsgroups that you are not using. If you check e-mail with it, then only have your e-mail account on there.
