The big difference bet Unix and Linux is that currently Unix OS is developed by 5 or 6 companies, but Linux is a opened source and therefore Linux may be said to have only one set enviorment and command. That is, if we use a different company Unix OS, set enviorment may be different and the command may not be same. Linux overcomes this disadvantage and the basic price is free.
