Internet Downloading

I use the IE5 wizard to download multiple files for offline use; however, I want to download and automatically save as text files as opposed to manually bringing up each HTML download and resaving as text files. I do not have Visual C++ or VB, Is there a way to implement w/o having to buy either one of these?
