COM components list?

Hello,

Does anyone know if there are websites with online list/catalogs of COM components
available in the marketplace?

I am curious as to what kind of COM components are available and am not looking in any specific
areas right now.

As a manager, I had the same question as I agreed for my small firm to plunge into COM with the release of VB4. This is not a technical answer, but this is my experience:

I didn't find sources for business "subroutines" like tax calculations, etc. What I did find was an exciting new structure where our own code could be reused by multiple parts of our applications. Beyond this, smooth integration with products like Microsoft Office apps is possible with COM - in other words, Excel is a COM component for us.

So, in addition to whatever commercially reusable object modules you may find, consider what this exciting structure will provide for your own reusable objects. C & C++ folks have known about this for decades but we VBers are just now absorbing it.
