Sybase ASE Problem

I am encountering odd behaviour when connecting to a Sybase System 11 server which seems to be caused by the fact that two logical servers are physically located on one NT machine. Alternate logins fail because the login seems to be sent to the wrong machine.

Anyone seen anything like this or have nay idea what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like both servers are connected to your network via the same IP.
Try adding a NIC with a different IP, and assign it to sep databases.

That was precisely what was wrong, but we opted for buying a whole new physical server as doing so costs about the same as having a team of APs try and debug the thing for a week.
