Hi,
I have recently taken over support of a 16-bit application which is written in Borland C++ 4.51. It queries and displays information from a database ( about 160Mb ).
Over the next couple of months I have to decide on a path for the redevelopment in 32-bit... Java or C++, available over the Web or remaining as a desktop application. Anyone any suggestions?? Would DB queries be very slow over the Web? It could be downloading over 3000 rows per query...
