Hi!
What do you think about unsolicited e-mails?
I am asking your opinion because from time to time I receive such e-mails. In every such e-mail someone is trying to sell me something. Boy, it would be such a waste of time if I would read every such e-mail!
What are you doing when you receive unsolicited e-mails?
Do you think it is moral/legal if someone sends you this kind of spam?

As a rule I won't buy anything advertised to me by sending me an unsolicited email so it is a waste of time anyone sending them to me.

It is neither illegal nor imoral, just a little bit stupid. If you bring people into your website through good use of search engines and good niche market targetting you will achieve much greater sales per $ advertising than unsolicited mail.

HTH,
D.

I don't like unsolicited e-mails, but though there seem to be people who thing I do. My sender-blocking has grown very large and I've decided not to block anymore. Since I've noticed that many senders just send one or two e-mails. Then they change their names and send using that name. So sender-blocking doesn't help very much. Besides, the number of people who think I like unsolicited e-mails seems to be growing day by day. So I decided just to move all such mail immediately to the trash folder.

It's especially my Hotmail address that people like to fill with unsolicitated mail. My other addresses are not visited.
