At present, I have a promising carrier as a system level programmer. My only fear is that...soon...advances in AI will render all programming languages obsolete. Will AI replace programmers?

Except those of them who will program that AI :) flipflop June 18th, 2001, 09:44 AM Never. Why ? Software-development is terrible behind the hardware development. Imagine this (taken from a Terminator Scenario): "..the T2000 busts through the concrete walls og Pentagon, in his everlasting quest to crush humanity. Terrific screams and the sound of small-arms fire doesn't seem to impress him, as he scans the area. The T2000 soon finds a suitable target for his attached rocketlauncher. He sets the range and x,y coordinates to the target, and is about to launch, when suddently a messagebox appears in his interior HUD-display "Unable to launch weapon. Missing winRL.dll" OK | CANCEL Whereas he sadly returns to the US defense Lab." :-) Thats facts, my friend. codeguru.com
