I only know that IOCTL stands for I/O control. Is it a type of programming language? It is a type of machine language?
I am totally new to programming actually. Have heard of C/C++, java, VC++ etc. but dunno about IOCTL. Can it be used for writing device drivers? for I am supposed to learn how to write a device driver. Maybe anybody who has experience in this field coudl giveme some tips.
