The main responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer would be handling the backend processing of the
transaction engine. This is an extremely
complex system and their is plenty to be learned from its structure and development. Other responsibilities will
include working the client connection software that has also been built in C++/MFC. Other possible responsibilities
could(if wanted) dealing with clients and the marketing team on the design of the system. Figuring out the best way to
do the development, design/architecture issues, etc. As I said before they are having thoughts into the newer
development of their engine with JAVA. They have not yet brought their system into the UNIX environment, but are
having thoughts to do this.
