Rose code generation - experiences?

Hi,

I'm about to embark on a large C++ project (in a medium sized team) which will be designed using Rational Rose and implemented using Visual C++ 6.0.

I'm am trying to evaluate the pros and cons of using Rose's code generation facility.

Has anyone successfully used this facility in a large project? Or have you seen it create more problems than it solves? Should we auto-generate our code or tap it in by hand?

Any ideas, hints, tales of experience or pitfall warnings will be greatfully received!
