I was looking for some comments regarding defect tracking software. In particular I am interested in Visual Intercept and TeamTrack. Has anyone used either of these (or any other) products for defect management? Any comments or suggestions that share your experience with any defect tracking software would be greatly appreciated.
I would welcome comments regarding the use of a package that is strictly web-based, such as TeamTrack, versus software that requires additional client software. Also, what packages are well-received from both the developer and QA perspective.
P.S. If you happen to work for a company that develops or sells such software, please indicate that in your response. I am really only interested in developer experience and recommendations - I can check other websites for advertisements.
