Program for Visual C++.net

I have just obtained a book about learning Visual C++.net and have found out that I need a program to do so!!
I know,I know...what a cabbage I am!
First can you tell me which program I need and secondly is it available to download from somewhere?

Visual C++ .NET would require (strangly) Visual C++ .NET. You can get it from Microsoft at their site. You can also buy it from any major computer store. I believe Amazon.com also sells it. Basic version should be around $99.
