.NET remoting and XML Web Service
In .NET architecture, is XML Web Service considered as a part of .NET remoting? Or it is another peer tech in the same level of .NET remoting? I know that .NET remoting includes TCP, HTTP binary, HTTP text, DCOM tech, is the tech of HTTP text mains XML Web Service?
Also, is COM+ considered as a module, or a independent module of .NET? Does COM+ have a new version and use .NET runtime library? Will the "traditional" COM+ functions such as transaction, Queued Compomenents, JIT be replaced by some new modules in .NET?
