I have installed Visual Studio.Net after I format my drive and now I found a bug in an early version of a project made in VC++. I have loaded it (and converted, of course!) to V.S.7.0 but then I received the link error: file not found “MFC42D.LIB”. Since I wasn’t emotional attach to that particular version of MFC I tried to change it but I didn’t find out how.
And something else: after a clean build, some other dll like comadmin.dll, and an XML….(something).dll have been also reported as missing.

I read ( a part) of the documentation written in MSDN but I didn’t figure it out
