Has anyone done a huge map of these technologies in a tree form with an overlay of which languages are best for doing things. The breadth and depth of these things are dizzying. I am thinking 3D map, with OS,Applications and languages overlayed and how they interface with the WINAPI, & Linux API all the way down to BAREMETAL, Hardware Interrupts, etc. Hmmm, new project time! I am thinking scalable with trees and lists. That way you know where you are in this world. And also be helpful for charting your progress in this myriad of technologies and apps. Because I am a newby, I am lost, but I also think that I am not the only lost newby. With a YOU ARE HERE ARROW!
