I have just received the CDs for Visual Studio 7 Beta version. When reading the system requirements it says minimum RAM 96MB. My laptop only has 64MB. Anyonme with advice if this means I shouldnt or cant install or perhaps it will still work with only 64MB RAM.

I will only be using it for personal study reasons not doing any really serious development work.

Any advice?

I bought the computer mail order and cant easily send it back for an upgrade of RAM

Hi Jeff,
you can install the Visual Studio.NET (7.0) in 64MB, but it will be really slow to work with it. If you have real patience to work slowly, then you can probably install and work. I have 128 MB with Windows 2000 server installed, still it is slow. The best configuration would be 256 MB of RAM.
