vs.net installation?

Setup has detected that some of the Windows components that
are installed on this computer do match the version required
for Visual Studio.NET

could someone please give me some hint what do i need to update ??
i'm installing on newly installed win2k advanced server,
all IIS options selected.

you need to have service pack 1 installed on your system for vs.net to work, was there an upgrade file that was included with vs.net that needed to be extracted?

In my set of CDs there was a seperate disk: "Visual Studio Component Upgrade" which I had to run on top of a full Win 2000 install when prompted so to do by Disk 1 of the Beta.

Perhaps ask MS for this CD?
