.NET killed Office.

Can anyone tell me how i am able to rescue the functionality of word and excel 2000 after i have installed .net on my system [ive already tried to do this by uninstalling .net, that wasnt enough] Thank you.

Yep, .NET killed my MS Office also. Any time I try to do anything in Word, it just quits. Any ideas?

The Instractions for beta tells: To install on separate PC (test environment). .Net installs a bunch of new components and dlls, which making windows incompatible with other applications (most of them). So...

The same thing happened to me, but once I installed service pack 1 for office the troubles dissapeared. . .

Hey all you people having trouble with your office not working ??? Did you know that when you run the Windows Component Update Cd (which comes along with VS.NET) it automatically installs Service Pack 1 for office 2000 !!! Also if you will read the documentation on Office 2000 website you will find many issues redarding SP1 of Office 2000 . Try digging there for more information ....
