DataGrid. How ot manually create???

I want to use a datagrid and fill in some rows by hand. (No Datasource)

I am just using it to put in some rows of text.
But I need to be able to adjust it. Meaning add and delete rows.

Possibly sort it also.

I know how to do this in VB6 but not in .NET.
